This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Drive booking levels to achieve or surpass designated booking targets.
• Maintain consistent and planned communication with key customers in the designated region.
• Create and execute marketing strategies that align with regional sales goals.
• Act as the main customer liaison for proposals, deliveries, repairs, quality issues, warranty claims, and other business interactions.
• Inform customers about product quality, features, and applications using company marketing resources.
• Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, manufacturing, and both internal and external sales partners.
• Keep organized records, including reports, quotes, statuses, actuals, and expenses.
• Discuss business strategies and return on investment to support solution selling.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Understanding of the design and operational needs of rotating pumps, mechanical seals, and related equipment.
• Proficient in conducting product demonstrations, presentations, and business writing.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Financial insight to discuss business choices, especially return on investment.
• Capable of working independently and efficiently, while effectively communicating with others.
• Able to navigate large customer sites, lift a minimum of 50 lbs, and traverse ladders and staircases in multi-story buildings.
• Sales experience with rotating equipment such as pumps and mechanical seals.
• Experience in the oil & gas, power, paper, and chemical industries, with knowledge of the API 610 Standard.
• Training in sales techniques, negotiations, and business finance.
• Proven ability to lead meetings, including setting agendas, preparing materials, facilitating discussions, and assigning follow-up tasks.
• Ability to conduct root cause failure analysis and convey findings effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5–7 years of pertinent experience.
