This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Drive new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities by effectively communicating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio—backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security management capabilities to both business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert, customized technical support throughout the sales process, including discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive to support the technical strategy for enterprise opportunities, contributing to deal progression and win strategies.
• Assist customers in integrating Cohesity products into their existing production environments, promptly addressing technical inquiries in a professional manner.
• Lead and support technical engagements such as product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer needs and risk areas, assisting in shaping proofs of concept that showcase Cohesity’s value in cyber resilience and data security.
• Facilitate competitive displacement discussions by understanding customer environments and effectively positioning Cohesity.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
• Provide post-sales technical support or project assistance as needed to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting focusing on infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise settings.
• Practical experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with data security concepts, including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.
• Awareness of competitive technologies and a desire to develop competitive positioning skills.
• Experience in supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision-making processes.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into clear value propositions and business outcomes for customers.
• Proven experience collaborating with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Ability to utilize AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making.
• Knowledge of enterprise purchasing processes and deal dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences.
• A collaborative approach with the capability to manage intricate customer situations in a professional and confident manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Industry certifications in cloud, data, or related technologies are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English (ability to engage fluently in speaking, reading, and writing in a professional context).
