This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in the technical pre-sales process by conducting product demonstrations and overseeing proof-of-value (POV) initiatives to ensure customer success criteria are met.
• Lead discovery meetings and analyze the competitive landscape to design technical solutions that fill specific customer gaps in security and infrastructure.
• Support Sales Executives in the development of technical documentation and responses for RFPs, collaborating with internal teams to finalize them.
• Deliver ongoing technical training regarding platform integrations and security principles to internal sales teams and external channel partners.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Sales Engineering role within the software sector.
• Proficient in presenting technical information to small groups, ranging from C-suite executives to technical teams.
• Technical expertise in internet security principles, including network topology, TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and routers.
• Proven experience in selling software solutions to Fortune 500 companies.
• Practical knowledge of endpoint security technologies such as antivirus (AV), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and next-generation antivirus (Next-gen AV).
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and vulnerability management frameworks.
• Experience with or implementation of APIs within a security framework.
• Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Python, for technical solution development.
• Solid understanding of application-layer protocols, including HTTP and SMTP.
