This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain a collection of top-tier sales materials such as pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, battle cards, videos, media clips, and guides for handling objections.

• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure that all enablement resources accurately represent current offerings, messaging, and positioning.

• Customize content for specific audience segments, including district administrators, curriculum directors, and decision-makers at the state level.

• Perform regular audits of the content library to guarantee that materials are up-to-date, compliant, and consistent with brand standards.

• Address requests from the sales team for tailored sales collateral, including initiatives at the state level, conferences, pitch meetings, and advanced training sessions for educators and administrators.

• Design and implement onboarding programs to help new sales team members quickly acclimate and confidently represent Khan Academy's District offerings.

• Develop ongoing training curricula that cover product updates, sales methodologies, the competitive landscape, and how to handle objections.

• Collaborate with the Professional Learning team to integrate educator insights into sales training, enhancing reps' understanding of customer needs.

• Facilitate internal training sessions, workshops, and role-playing exercises to reinforce skills and promote the adoption of best practices.

• Serve as a critical link between sales, marketing, product, district success, and professional learning to ensure consistent messaging and smooth transitions between marketing and sales as well as sales and district success.

• Collect feedback from the sales team to identify content gaps, training requirements, and market insights for relevant stakeholders.

• Assist in product launches by creating launch kits, training materials, and internal communications that prepare representatives to sell new features and offerings.

• Conduct and document enablement retrospectives, implementing actions to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, instructional design, or a related area; experience in K–12 education or EdTech is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of the K-12 education market and EdTech providers.

• Ability to grasp the diverse needs of all stakeholders within the school district ecosystem, from classroom educators to superintendents and other district leaders, and adjust materials and collateral accordingly.

• Capacity to work independently and think creatively to provide practical solutions for partners.

• Proven capability to produce clear, engaging written and visual content tailored for a sales audience.

• Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.

• High proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Salesforce.

• Outstanding editing and proofreading abilities; strong command of grammar and professional writing standards.

• A curious and growth-oriented mindset; comfortable with quickly learning new products, tools, and industries.

• A passion for Khan Academy’s vision and a desire to make a positive impact in the world.

• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills; experience in Professional Learning is a plus.

• Proven cross-cultural competency skills that demonstrate self-awareness, awareness of others, and the ability to adopt inclusive perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors to foster inclusion and belonging throughout the organization.
