This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Recruit and guide a high-performing, inclusive, and motivated team of 6-8 exceptional account executives to meet quarterly objectives.
• Deliver both initial training and continuous support to ensure the team's preparedness, growth, and professional advancement.
• Foster strong relationships with Mainline Account Executives and leaders, as well as Specialist Sales Engineers, to enhance team sales strategies and improve conversion rates.
• Closely monitor the sales pipeline and collaborate with Mainline owners and Account Development Representatives to develop account strategies for unexploited opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and strategy teams to swiftly address challenges and optimize go-to-market initiatives for new products.
• Advocate for, exemplify, and instill Samsara’s cultural principles as we expand Specialist support on a global scale.
• Over 8 years of sales experience, demonstrating proven success in managing a complex sales process from prospecting to closing.
• More than 3 years of experience in team management.
• A strong history of exceeding targets with experience in coaching teams on outbound sales efforts.
• Deep understanding of intricate sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders, various products, and prolonged timelines.
• Outstanding communication abilities and comfort with public presentations.
• Experience in overlay or new product launch sales.
• Proven experience collaborating with Product and Marketing teams to shape go-to-market strategies.
• Capability to work in strategic partnership with senior Account Executives and account teams.
• Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Claude, Gong, and other essential platforms.
• Understanding of MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales methodologies.
