Product Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the onboarding, training, and continuous development of Production team personnel

• Collaborating closely with Production and Operations leadership

• Ensuring team members receive adequate training on mortgage guidelines, systems, loan procedures, customer communication, and company policies

• Analyzing production workflow trends

• Offering coaching and support to enhance operational consistency and loan quality across the organization

• Creating and maintaining training materials, job aids, process guides, and reference documents

• Providing guidance and assistance regarding loan file setup, disclosures, prequalification, submission expectations, and processing workflows

• Supporting training initiatives associated with Encompass and other mortgage technology systems

• Coordinating with Production and Operations leadership to pinpoint training needs and performance enhancement opportunities

• Observing trends, recurring challenges, and operational issues

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

• A minimum of three years of experience in mortgage processing, underwriting, originating, loan officer assistance, or production support is preferred

• Previous experience in mortgage training, coaching, mentoring, or onboarding is preferred

• Familiarity with conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo loan programs is necessary

• Proficiency in mortgage loan origination systems, including Encompass or similar platforms, is required

• Proficiency in Desktop Underwriter (DU), Loan Prospector (LP), and AUS systems is expected

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams is essential

• Experience in conducting virtual training sessions and webinars is preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are necessary

• Capability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential

• Must uphold professionalism and a positive demeanor

• Dependability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are required
