This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Drives revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within insurer and Workers’ Compensation Board channels.
• Oversees the entire sales cycle, encompassing prospecting, needs assessment, solution presentation, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.
• Formulates and implements strategic account plans to enhance market presence and fortify existing partnerships.
• Cultivates and sustains robust, long-term client relationships, establishing the organization as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborates across departments to deliver cohesive, client-centered solutions and improve the overall customer experience.
• Identifies growth and retention opportunities within current accounts to support ongoing revenue growth.
• Keeps abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and changing customer needs to effectively position solutions.
• Manages pipeline activities, meets sales targets, and ensures precise reporting within CRM systems.
• Represents the organization through networking, participation in industry events, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Contributes to team achievements through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Sales, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in a Sales and/or Account Management role within a Business-to-Business services environment (preferably in insurance, WCBs, or group benefits).
• Professional designations or sales-related certifications are considered advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in complex sales environments, including prospecting, closing, and expanding strategic partnerships.
• Strong relationship management, negotiation, and influencing abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
• Solid business and financial acumen, along with the capability to interpret data and market insights to guide decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; bilingualism (English/French) is viewed as an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of insurance, workers’ compensation, disability management, or return-to-work environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated accountability, strategic thinking, collaboration, adaptability, and results-driven orientation.
