This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Identify new leads and create opportunities within the Healthcare IT vendor sector.
• Strategically manage and grow assigned accounts by developing and implementing account plans that promote expansion and cross-selling opportunities.
• Build and nurture C-level relationships with prospects through a consultative and trusted advisor approach to generate new business opportunities.
• Meet sales targets through disciplined management of the pipeline and forecasts.
• Utilize key business insights to enhance customer priorities and learnings.
• Serve as the opportunity owner by overseeing the virtual selling team and all necessary resources to maximize business potential.
• Stay updated on current trends and technologies in the healthcare IT industry.
• Implement and apply sales process fundamentals, including needs/pains analysis, solution development, product presentations, and proposal creation and refinement.
• Develop, maintain, and apply knowledge of the competitive landscape.
• Engage in consistent outreach to prospects.
• Record all prospect-related activities using our CRM system (Salesforce).
• Integrate AI into repeatable, systematized workflows (e.g., reporting, analysis, planning) to enhance efficiency, consistency, and decision-making.
• Create reusable prompts, templates, and simple automations that combine AI with internal data to drive ongoing productivity improvements across various workstreams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to business and/or healthcare IT; relevant experience may substitute for educational qualifications.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a complex healthcare software sales and account management setting.
• Proven track record of success in healthcare IT sales, demonstrating the ability to close deals with both new clients and existing customer accounts (cross-sell/upsell).
• Strong passion for technology and a customer-centric approach.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to support all aspects of a sale to clients of our innovative offerings.
• Experience and/or knowledge of the health IT sector with a focus on modern systems addressing future information and insight challenges.
• Must be able to travel by plane and drive for extended periods to cover the designated territory.
