This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Generate a qualified pipeline for our Account Executive team through extensive outbound prospecting, which includes cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn outreach, and innovative multi-channel sequences.
• Research target accounts and identify stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Leadership to discover the most effective entry points.
• Conduct in-depth discovery conversations that extend beyond basic qualification, allowing you to understand how development teams operate, what challenges they face, and where Cursor can provide solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to formulate account strategies, seamlessly transition opportunities, and remain informed as deals progress.
• Achieve and surpass weekly activity goals and monthly qualified meeting targets.
• Represent Cursor's brand and products with assurance, as you will be the first point of contact for many prospects.
• Provide valuable market intelligence to the team: share insights on what resonates, the objections encountered, and the messaging that proves effective.
• Contribute to the development of the playbook; as an early Account Associate, your experiences and insights will influence the scaling of this function.
• 1–2 years of experience in a sales, customer-facing, or business development position; experience as an SDR/BDR in a SaaS or developer tools environment is highly advantageous.
• You are a driven self-starter who takes charge of your pipeline and doesn’t wait for leads to be assigned.
• You communicate clearly in writing and speech, able to simplify complex products and tailor your message for a technical audience.
• You possess a keen interest in software development and are excited about the transformative impact of AI on the industry.
• You are organized and data-oriented: you monitor your activities, learn from your metrics, and adapt swiftly.
• You have resilience and a thick skin; rejection doesn’t deter you, and you recover quickly.
• You aspire to advance to an Account Executive role and are committed to doing the necessary work to achieve that goal.
