This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research to identify key decision-makers within mid-sized and large fleet organizations. Qualify and discover new business opportunities through various outreach methods such as outbound calls, emails, face-to-face meetings, trade shows, and innovative strategies.
• Perform discovery calls to gain insight into the prospects' needs and challenges, positioning our solutions as the perfect match.
• Skillfully manage and address objections throughout the sales process to guide prospects through the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing and Enterprise Sales colleagues to strategize and enhance sales efforts.
• Keep precise and current records of all sales pipeline activities, prospects, and customer data in Salesforce CRM.
• Regularly meet or surpass individual sales goals while contributing to the overall success of the team.
• The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in business development, inside B2B sales, carrier sales, or similar roles, with a strong emphasis on prospecting and collaborating with enterprise sales teams and prospects.
• Demonstrated success in identifying contacts, managing objections, conducting discovery calls, and transforming top-of-funnel interest into opportunities that lead to successful closures!
• Experience in the transportation and supply chain sector is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of building rapport and influencing at various organizational levels.
• Proficient in crafting narratives and creating presentations and documents using PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and other sales tools to effectively manage pipeline and sales activities.
• A passion for SaaS and rapidly advancing technology that delivers practical solutions.
• An exceptional work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as a strong team player.
• Enthusiastic about thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as opportunities arise.
