Sales Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a robust top-of-funnel pipeline within a designated territory.

• Carry out extensive outbound phone outreach to district leaders, principals, and administrators.

• Engage in discovery conversations to ascertain district needs, priorities, and readiness.

• Qualify incoming leads and transfer warm opportunities to the sales team with relevant context and notes.

• Keep precise records of outreach, contacts, and lead statuses in Salesforce.

• Investigate potential districts and contacts to broaden the territory prospect list.

• Enhance registration and attendance for regional e2L events.

• Manage pre-event and post-event outreach sequences in collaboration with the marketing team.

• Monitor event attendance, engagement, and pipeline results in Salesforce.

• Oversee outreach and registration campaigns for annual events.

• Work closely with the DSP and EDPS to pinpoint high-priority districts and contacts.

• Assist with event logistics and follow up with attendees to facilitate lead progression and sales handoff.

• Participate in territory syncs and contribute territory-level insights to aid in planning.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, business, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, business development, customer success, or a similar role, or a clear interest in transitioning into sales from an educational background.

• Experience in K–12 education or EdTech is highly preferred.

• Comfortable with high-volume phone outreach and interacting with senior district leaders.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage various outreach sequences, events, and priorities.

• Proficient in modern productivity tools; prior experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is an advantage.

• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
