This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Accountable for generating business by cultivating strong relationships with the travel agent channel in USCA.
• Implement Key Retail Account strategies as outlined by the Key Account Team.
• Expand RM business with current retail partners while establishing new travel agency connections.
• Oversee existing travel agency partnerships and enhance collaborations to boost both FIT and Groups business.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Sales to create and execute a territory-specific strategy.
• Discover new business development prospects within the assigned territory.
• Construct sales campaigns aimed at increasing bookings and revenue through the territory account base.
• Conduct analysis of the territory and marketplace dynamics.
• Support the achievement of ambitious growth objectives for the brand.
• Identify and enhance market penetration within retail accounts.
• Work closely with Rocky Mountaineer’s sales team to share and leverage best practices.
• Formulate business plans, sales strategies, budgets, and related business cases.
• Attend and engage in sales conferences, trade shows, and similar events.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and relevant documents for business solicitation.
• Provide insights on programs, strategies, and tactical marketing & sales initiatives.
• Responsible for precise and timely revenue and business trend forecasting.
• Generate and record sales activities in Salesforce.
• Post-secondary education and experience in the Travel/Tourism sector (a Bachelor’s degree is preferred).
• 5-10 years of prior sales experience in the travel industry is preferred.
• Proven ability in relationship building through a mix of in-person, virtual, and telephonic interactions.
• Fluency in French is considered an asset for this position.
• Strong presentation and training abilities, both in-person and via webinars.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive general business knowledge with strong business judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Professional demeanor and polished presentation.
• Proficient in tailoring and targeting communications to both internal and external audiences.
• Creative and resourceful in approach.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Concur, and PowerBI is considered an asset.
