• Formulate and implement a comprehensive global sales development strategy that aligns with pipeline creation and revenue growth objectives.
• Establish pipeline targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and accountability frameworks linked to business results.
• Collaborate across departments to enhance funnel performance, improve conversion rates, and increase revenue impact.
• Evaluate pipeline health and provide actionable insights regarding performance, capacity, and growth opportunities.
• Create and expand modern outbound programs utilizing intent data, account-based marketing (ABM), and AI-driven insights.
• Develop standardized prospecting playbooks that yield qualified pipeline and revenue opportunities.
• Continuously refine targeting, messaging, and multi-channel outreach strategies.
• Propel strategic account penetration across key industries, segments, and geographical areas.
• Oversee the assessment, selection, and optimization of sales development technologies, encompassing AI, automation, enrichment, and engagement platforms.
• Formulate and implement strategies that automate repetitive workflows, boost team productivity, and enhance buyer engagement.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations to streamline lead routing, enrichment, qualification, and overall workflow efficiency.
• Remain proactive regarding emerging trends and introduce innovative pipeline generation strategies.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain a high-performing Business Development Representative (BDR) team.
• Set performance expectations associated with pipeline creation, opportunity generation, and revenue contribution.
• Offer continual coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Direct inbound lead management and qualification strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing to enhance lead scoring, routing, and service level agreement (SLA) performance.
• Enhance speed-to-lead, qualification rates, and conversion into pipeline and revenue.
• Ensure that marketing-generated demand translates into high-quality opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to synchronize pipeline strategy with go-to-market priorities.
• Contribute to segmentation, territory planning, and pipeline coverage strategy.
• Act as a strategic advisor on pipeline generation, sales productivity, and growth opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 8 years of progressive leadership experience in sales development within B2B SaaS or technology sectors.
• Proven history of building, scaling, and leading high-performing inbound and outbound pipeline generation teams.
• Demonstrated success in implementing and utilizing sales technologies, including engagement platforms, AI solutions, and automation tools.
• In-depth expertise in contemporary prospecting strategies, such as account-based marketing (ABM), intent data, and buying signals.
• Significant experience with core go-to-market systems (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, HubSpot, Gong, ZoomInfo) and emerging AI technologies.
• Data-driven and operationally focused, with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to shape strategy, enhance performance, and guide decision-making.
• Experience in leading organizational change, including the implementation of new processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Strong executive presence accompanied by exceptional leadership, coaching, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
