This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Process orders, generate reports, and oversee order status within the ERP system.
• Convert customer purchase orders and requests into sales orders and vendor orders.
• Relay order confirmations and anticipated delivery timelines to customers.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure that technical specifications align with customer requirements.
• Handle order-related communications with both customers and vendors.
• Assist sales representatives and customers with product details and updates on order status.
• Review reports to detect missing information and monitor overdue orders.
• Work alongside the Accounting department to guarantee timely and precise invoicing.
• Validate vendor acknowledgments regarding pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Oversee shared customer-facing email accounts.
• Distribute parts-ordering information to relevant departments.
• Engage in cross-training to support related Supply Chain functions.
• Serve as a liaison among Customer Care Managers, Engineering, Accounting, and customers.
• Achieve performance metrics related to efficiency, sales order accuracy, customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and team collaboration.
• An Associate Degree from an accredited two-year college or university is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience and/or training with technical products in ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Background knowledge or experience in accounting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Capacity to organize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs in various remote locations.
• Skill in articulating ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats, while effectively listening to customer requirements.
• Capability to build and sustain strong workplace relationships centered on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to cooperate with other departments.
• Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in identifying and executing essential tasks independently with a sense of urgency.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 10% of the time.
