This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• In this position, you will oversee and monitor the management of DATAGROUP’s core portfolio while preparing the implications for management.
• You will uphold the pricing framework, price levels, and price floors, review project pricing, and initiate necessary escalation actions.
• You will convert the pricing strategy and methodology into a pricing tool, conduct the initial parameter calibration, and ensure the tool is continuously maintained and updated.
• By utilizing internal and external benchmarking, you will create, maintain, and update the pricing database.
• You will establish processes for price adjustments and assist our market units/subsidiaries in implementing pricing effectively.
• You are accountable for the ongoing updates and maintenance of the content in the price-adjustment playbook (e.g., indices, communications, etc.).
• You will identify the commercial implications of contracts and implement suitable risk management strategies.
• The overall execution and continuous enhancement of the pricing strategy will be part of your duties, along with the definition and implementation of pricing processes.
• Engaging with and assisting both internal and external stakeholders to compile pricing information will be part of your daily responsibilities.
• You possess a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Business Informatics/Information Systems with a specialization in Controlling and Sales/Sales Controlling, or an equivalent qualification.
• You have several years of experience in sales, costing, and/or sales controlling and are well-versed in project and change management.
• You demonstrate a strong understanding of pricing, sales, and risk management concepts along with the relevant processes.
• Ideally, you have experience with commercial contract components and a solid grasp of legal frameworks and regulations.
• Familiarity with IT and data landscapes enhances your daily work performance.
• You are skilled in common MS Office applications (particularly Excel) and preferably have experience with SAP (FI/CO/MM).
• Your strong communication skills and assertiveness, paired with effective presentation abilities, enable you to establish a robust network across various units and functional groups within the company and engage with executives on an equal footing.
• Your proficiency in German (C1) and business-fluent English, both written and spoken, rounds out your profile.
