This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• In this position, you will oversee and supervise the management of DATAGROUP's core portfolio and prepare the resultant impacts for the management team.
• You will be tasked with maintaining the pricing structure, price levels, and price floors, as well as reviewing project prices and initiating necessary escalation measures.
• Your role includes translating the pricing strategy and methodology into a pricing tool, conducting the initial calibration of parameters, and ensuring the tool is regularly updated.
• By utilizing internal and external benchmarking, you will create, maintain, and update the price database.
• You will establish processes for price adjustments and assist our market units/subsidiaries in executing price changes.
• You will be responsible for the ongoing updating and maintenance of the contents of the price-adjustment playbook (e.g., indices, communication, etc.).
• Identifying commercial implications of contracts and implementing appropriate risk management measures will also be part of your duties.
• General implementation and continuous improvement of the pricing strategy, along with defining and executing pricing processes, fall under your responsibilities.
• Part of your daily tasks will involve communicating with and supporting both internal and external stakeholders in gathering price information.
• You possess a degree in business administration (BWL), economics, or business informatics with a concentration on controlling and sales/sales controlling, or an equivalent qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in sales, pricing/costing, and/or sales controlling, and are knowledgeable in project and change management.
• You have a strong grasp of pricing, sales, and risk management concepts and the related processes.
• Ideally, you have experience with components of commercial contracts and a necessary understanding of legal frameworks and guidelines.
• Proficiency in IT and data environments will aid you in your daily responsibilities.
• You are skilled in common MS Office applications (particularly Excel) and preferably have experience with SAP (FI/CO/MM).
• Your strong communication and assertiveness skills, paired with effective presentation abilities, enable you to build a robust network across units and functions within the organization and engage with leadership on equal footing.
• Your excellent German language skills (C1 level) and business-fluent English, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
