Sales Consulting Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical security evaluations, identify gaps, and perform risk assessments for clients.

• Develop, implement, and enhance cybersecurity frameworks, controls, and solutions.

• Offer expert advice on security standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, FIPS, etc.).

• Execute penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and red team operations.

• Assist clients with incident response strategies, tabletop exercises, and remediation post-incident.

• Deploy and manage security technologies including firewalls, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM, Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Zero Trust frameworks.

• Provide high-quality presentations, reports, and security roadmaps to clients.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams (sales, project management, and delivery) to effectively scope and implement projects.

• Remain updated on the latest threat intelligence, attack methods, and defensive technologies.

• Guide junior engineers and aid in the creation of internal methodologies and best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in cybersecurity engineering or consulting.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP, CEH, GCIH (one or more required).

• Strong technical knowledge in network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, and identity & access management.

• Familiarity with security tools like CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Okta, Microsoft Sentinel, Juniper (HPE), etc.

• Proven track record in delivering consulting services to mid-market and enterprise clients.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

• ****Preferred Skills & Attributes****

• Experience with regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX).

• Practical experience in cloud-native security and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Understanding of threat modeling, Secure SDLC, and application security.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple client projects.

• Extensive networking experience with Telecom, Cable, and/or Hyperscalers.

• High level of professionalism, client-service focus, and business acumen.
