This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Operates within a designated territory with the main objective of discovering new business prospects.
• Engages with decision-makers to evaluate product requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Formulates sales strategies, methods, and tactics informed by customer insights and market conditions.
• Collaborates with Inside Sales and Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Conducts daily visits to clients within the DOD, DHS, and commercial sectors in the assigned region.
• Reports sales data, forecasts, schedules, results, and activities to the Regional Manager.
• Demonstrates new products to potential customers.
• Markets and sells service contracts to extend the lifecycle of existing equipment.
• Introduces new technology to clients.
• Assists the customer business team by building relationships with Program Managers in the area.
• Ensures customers are well-informed about all HDT product offerings.
• Represents HDT professionally at relevant customer events including outings, trade shows, and product demonstrations.
• Guarantees that all data and quotes are recorded in Salesforce and updated weekly.
• Provides assistance and training on HDT products sold to customers in the region.
• Responsible for maintaining demonstration equipment and all company assets assigned.
• Willing to travel up to 50%, as needed.
• BA/BS Degree is preferred.
• Proven sales experience and knowledge in DOD, DHS, and commercial sectors.
• Military experience is advantageous.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Background in customer service and support is essential.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and willingness to put in overtime when required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers, vendors, employees, and managers at all levels within the organization.
• Proficient computer skills with demonstrated expertise in standard business software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SAP).
