This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Generate a robust pipeline of prospects through proactive cold calling, referrals from third parties (such as banks and insurance brokers), trade associations, and various other channels.

• Employ consultative sales strategies to oversee the complete sales process, which includes understanding the business needs of prospects, completing and submitting applications, identifying key accounts, and transitioning applications into policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams in Commercial, Risk, and Customer Experience to deliver optimal product offerings to both prospective and existing clients.

• Actively build and enhance a network that extends beyond traditional banks or brokers, placing a strong emphasis on cultivating connections through client referrals and personal relationships.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of product features, the competitive landscape, and market trends.

• Negotiate and finalize intricate deals.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in business management, finance, or a related field is highly preferred.

• 2-4 years of experience in business-to-business sales.

• A proven history of success in similar roles.

• Ability to overcome objections and effectively persuade, motivate, and influence internal stakeholders.

• Strong skills in negotiation.

• Persistence and the ability to thrive in high-performance sales environments.

• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.

• A basic understanding of business financials and credit principles.

• Capability to obtain (and maintain) Property & Casualty Insurance within the first 60 days of employment.

• Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technologies, along with a willingness to learn and incorporate AI into everyday business operations.
