This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for promoting the company’s products or services while developing new accounts and/or enhancing existing ones.
• The main responsibility may involve identifying, generating, and nurturing new distribution partners to market the company’s products to end-users.
• Cultivates awareness and demand for the company's offerings.
• Actively pursue sales leads.
• Take the lead in visiting both existing and prospective customers.
• Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
• Address customer inquiries and finalize sales orders to achieve set revenue goals.
• Innovate and enhance sales skills along with knowledge of the organization’s products, services, and clientele.
• Conduct supplier audits at distributor warehouse locations.
• Identify and execute opportunities for efficiency, such as implementing distributor dashboards.
• Establish regular communication with distributors to reduce shipment errors and discrepancies.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably mechanical/electrical or electronic) or a business degree with substantial experience in a technical setting.
• Extensive sales and marketing experience at a senior level in Business-to-Business key account management within an industrial context.
• Experience in distribution sales and management is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with sensors and industrial automation products is preferred.
• Outstanding commercial insight combined with a solid operational and technical foundation.
• Skill in transforming customer needs into compelling product offerings.
• Maintains accountability for achieving personal and team goals and standards.
• Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation), along with strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in organization, planning, and time management to accomplish objectives.
