• Take ownership and enhance revenue and profitability for a selection of direct buying customer accounts.
• Establish and maintain robust, long-term relationships with customers as the primary commercial liaison.
• Provide prompt, high-quality account support tailored to customer specifications and revenue targets.
• Recognize opportunities to elevate the overall customer experience and collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions.
• Handle incoming inquiries from existing or new OEM/Tier1/Specifier accounts, offering advanced technical and regulatory assistance to transform inquiries into qualifying opportunities.
• Spearhead business development initiatives to launch new products, adapt applications, and scale production efforts.
• Oversee pricing quotations and negotiations within established authority limits to optimize margins.
• Predict and monitor account KPIs such as revenue, margin, ASP, and competitive standing.
• Analyze customer usage against competing products to identify opportunities for market share growth.
• Keep precise CRM records, including meeting notes, pipeline activities, and account strategies.
• Demonstrated experience as a Sales Account Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or in a comparable commercial position.
• Background in the plastics industry or relevant experience.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management and negotiation.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in using CRM systems to oversee pipeline and account activities.
• Capability to collaborate across functions in a global, matrixed organization.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience); preference for candidates who are members of a recognized commercial or sales institute.
