This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.
• Assist business development and sales teams throughout the entire customer acquisition process.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions to gain insights into mission requirements, operational challenges, and technical limitations.
• Convert customer requirements into scalable recommendations for drone, radio, autonomy, and sensor architectures.
• Create solution concepts, technical responses, statements of work, and content for proposals.
• Showcase technical capabilities to executive, operational, and engineering stakeholders.
• Provide advice to OEM partners, defense clients, and government agencies.
• If qualified, support flight demonstrations, proof-of-concept events, and field trials.
• Develop test plans, success criteria, and demonstration scenarios.
• Lead customer acceptance testing and technical validation processes.
• Participate in trade shows, military exercises, technology demonstrations, and partner events.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to engineering and product teams.
• Design and validate integrated solutions that include UAS platforms, tactical and mesh radios, C2 software, autonomy software, sensor payloads, ground control stations, and RF detection systems.
• Facilitate interoperability across multi-vendor ecosystems and government programs.
• Assist in system deployment, integration planning, and operational execution.
• Establish technical relationships with drone manufacturers, radio suppliers, autonomy vendors, and government clients.
• Aid channel and OEM partner empowerment through training sessions and technical workshops.
• Collaborate with product teams to prioritize market needs and emerging operational demands.
• Identify opportunities for increased adoption and follow-on business.
• Over 10 years of experience in UAS, autonomy, aerospace, defense technology, wireless communications, or related fields.
• Customer-facing experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Business Development, Flight Operations, or Systems Integration.
• Proven experience in delivering technical presentations, customer demonstrations, and product briefings.
• Strong knowledge of UAS operations.
• Solid understanding of BVLOS operations.
• In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of command-and-control systems.
• Proficient knowledge of tactical communications networks.
• Strong expertise in sensor integration and deployment.
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer engagements, demonstrations, testing activities, and industry events.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with Silvus, Doodle Labs, Persistent Systems, MPU5, and MANET technologies.
• Preferred: experience in integrating and deploying EO/IR payloads, radar systems, ADS-B solutions, Remote ID technologies, and RF detection and situational awareness systems.
• Preferred: familiarity with ArduPilot, PX4, CubePilot, MAVLink, and ground control software platforms.
• Preferred: experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense, federal government, state government, or public safety clients.
• Preferred: FAA Part 107 certification and/or FAA Commercial Pilot credentials.
• Preferred: experience in government acquisition, contracting, or defense procurement environments.
