This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and expand a Middle Market Commercial portfolio through proactive prospecting, cultivation of Centers of Influence (COI), and strategies for client retention.
• Foster growth in loan, deposit, and fee income by identifying opportunities and implementing structured calling plans.
• Collaborate across departments to provide comprehensive solutions in areas such as Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Private Banking, and Wealth.
• Evaluate client financials and create credit solutions that adhere to risk and policy guidelines.
• Oversee portfolio risk and ensure adherence to credit policies, regulatory standards, and business strategies.
• Present credit recommendations and engage in the loan approval process alongside Portfolio Management.
• Participate in community and business organizations to enhance brand visibility and build referral networks.
• Report any suspicious activity to Financial Intelligence.
• Notify management or HR of customer complaints and procedural violations.
• Report ethical concerns through Associated Bank’s anonymous Ethics Hotline as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field with equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years in commercial banking or B2B business development.
• Demonstrated success in portfolio growth, client management, and credit analysis.
• Strong understanding of commercial products and non-credit solutions.
• Experience in building portfolios within expansion or growth markets is preferred.
• Established network of middle market clients and Centers of Influence is preferred.
• Must accurately represent yourself and your experiences during the recruitment and hiring process.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check for new hires is required.
