
Sales Account Executive – Laboratory Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Identify and oversee client accounts and business opportunities for the Eurofins Built Environment Testing Division.
• Travel across the region for meetings with clients.
• Aim to enhance market share, profitability, competitive edge, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services sector.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with Eurofins clients.
• Envision and acquire new accounts to support business growth by representing Eurofins.
• Discover opportunities and profitable work by following up on leads, negotiating, and finalizing deals.
• Serve as a vital link between the customer and Eurofins, conveying the customer’s needs to the internal team.
• A degree in Sciences or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.
• Must be willing and able to travel throughout the assigned territory, with approximately 50% travel required, including some overnight trips.
• Knowledge of the environmental industry.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in sales-specific skills including identifying prospects, interviewing, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated sales acumen and skills.
• Lab experience and familiarity with the environmental industry is preferred.
• Ability to write sales and account plans.
• Competent computer skills.
• Familiarity with lab functions and terminology.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Effective planning skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to work in an unstructured environment.
