This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Acquire new business opportunities within designated territories and banking sectors.
• Develop and maintain a robust commercial pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, industry events, and existing connections.
• Sell sponsorships, subscriptions, awards programs, data/intelligence products, and commercial partnerships.
• Engage with MD-level and C-suite executives from banks, fintechs, and technology providers.
• Lead commercial negotiations, proposal crafting, discussions, and the closing of contracts.
• Expand and oversee existing strategic accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, research, and product teams on commercial strategies and market possibilities.
• Ensure precise forecasting, maintain CRM hygiene, and report on pipeline status.
• Represent the organization at global conferences, banking events, roundtables, and client meetings.
• A minimum of 5–8+ years in B2B sales, enterprise sales, sponsorship sales, or business development roles.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: *Banking, Fintech, Financial media, Data/intelligence platforms, Banking technology, Conferences/events, and SaaS/platform sales.*
• Proven track record in acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth.
• Extensive experience managing complete sales cycles from prospecting to closure.
• Comfortable interacting with senior banking stakeholders and key commercial decision-makers.
• A pre-existing network within banking, fintech, or financial services is highly desirable.
• Experience in financial media, awards, sponsorship, or conference sales is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management is essential.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of operating across international markets and time zones.
