This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
β’ Acts as an advocate and primary contact for members, addressing inquiries and concerns related to benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other aspects of plan services.
β’ Ensures a high level of member satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service and a readiness to assist at all times, while maintaining professionalism.
β’ Provides education to members, their families, providers, and caregivers about benefits and plan options.
β’ Clearly articulates benefits and plan options through in-person interactions, email communication, or phone calls.
β’ Follows up with members by clarifying their issues, identifying the root cause, and explaining the solutions.
β’ Elevates relevant member issues to management or other departments as necessary.
β’ Consistently meets or exceeds departmental standards in areas such as quality, productivity, and adherence to schedules and attendance.
β’ Responds to inquiries from members, internal staff, and providers in a timely and appropriate manner, addressing questions about benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other issues while adhering to departmental policies and guidelines.
β’ Takes responsibility for resolving issues, focusing on providing solutions and options for members as needed.
β’ Enhances member satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving issues, complaints, and inquiries efficiently and accurately; collaborates with providers and other departments as necessary.
β’ Ability to maintain a calm demeanor at all times, even in high-pressure situations.
β’ Proficient in data entry and general computer skills (including word processing and email).
β’ Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
β’ Professional and pleasant telephone etiquette is essential.
β’ Capability to manage a high volume of calls while consistently delivering excellent customer service.
β’ Proven efficiency and effectiveness in a high-call-volume environment.
