This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze client business processes and functional requirements.

• Prepare relevant documentation to convey and validate the information.

• Evaluate data, assess existing application products, and suggest efficient, cost-effective solutions that align with client business processes and functional requirements.

• Document functional requirements, workflows, and system specifications.

• Familiarize yourself with the functions of the client’s key systems to easily identify integration points and provide recommendations.

• Deliver all projects within a specified area; ensure projects are completed on or ahead of schedule, manage costs within budget, and surpass customer expectations.

• Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.

• Collaborate with clients during system testing and product acceptance phases to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

• Support the sales team with business opportunities by assisting with estimates and proposal generation, conducting demos, and responding to customer pre-sales requests as necessary.

• Manage and support relationships with existing clients, which includes addressing inquiries, resolving issues, writing reports, performing upgrades, and ensuring overall client satisfaction with the software and the company.

• Promote value billing and efficiency in service delivery.

• Develop subject matter expertise on the Sage X3 product and serve as an escalation point for any implementation issues.

• Utilize technical and business knowledge to analyze client requirements and align them with system functionality.

• Perform gap analysis, identify options, and recommend optimal methods to address gaps, including customization, third-party products, process changes, and/or industry best practices.

• Complete necessary training and development regarding product versions, updates, and changes within the designated timeframe.

• Continuously develop technical and industry-specific knowledge and stay abreast of industry trends and the latest technology solutions.

• Engage with peers and managers to share knowledge, highlight critical issues, and propose process improvements.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication channels and client satisfaction.

• Proactively seek or create opportunities to participate in client interactions to share knowledge and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are achieved.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, quality assurance, or equivalent work experience is required.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in Sage X3 ERP implementation or similar ERP solutions (such as Epicor, Infor, Syspro, Chempax, Workday, ProcessPRO, MS Dynamics).

• Must have experience implementing ERP solutions within the Distribution Manufacturing sector.

• Experience with Bills of Materials, scheduling, shipping, EDI integrations, etc.

• A consulting background that includes a proven record of delivering complex software solutions within defined timelines and budgets.

• Strong business acumen, a deep understanding of business needs, and the ability to ensure that technical solutions, strategies, and practices deliver business and customer value.

• Experience in translating business requirements into solution specifications.

• Experience leading requirements definition and design sessions through interviews, surveys, user workshops, product/prototype demos, etc.

• A successful track record of achieving agreed-upon business objectives and performance on key metrics.

• Ability to effectively document business and technical designs.

• Capability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Strong interpersonal and social skills with the ability to build and manage a strategic external industry network.
