Sage X3 Financial Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, design, develop, and implement Sage X3 solutions that support essential financial and operational functions.

• Analyze client business processes and functional requirements.

• Prepare documentation to convey and validate findings.

• Evaluate data, assess existing systems, and suggest efficient, cost-effective solutions.

• Document functional requirements, workflows, and system specifications.

• Identify integration points across client systems, recommending connectivity and configuration.

• Deliver projects punctually, within budget, and in a manner that surpasses client expectations.

• Provide support to clients during system testing and user acceptance phases.

• Manage ongoing client relationships, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, writing reports, and performing upgrades.

• Assist sales teams with estimates, proposal creation, product demonstrations, and pre-sales inquiries.

• Develop extensive expertise in Sage X3 and act as an escalation resource.

• Align client requirements with system functionality and conduct gap analysis.

• Recommend configuration, customization, third-party tools, or process modifications.

• Complete necessary training on product updates and new releases.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technology solutions.

• Share knowledge, highlight critical issues, and propose process enhancements.

• Build and sustain relationships with client stakeholders.

• Create opportunities to engage clients and share expertise to enhance service quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in implementing Sage X3 within core Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, cost accounting, and financial reporting).

• Practical experience with work-in-progress and cost accounting in manufacturing settings.

• Understanding of inventory balancing requirements, including RNI (Received Not Invoiced) and SNI (Shipped Not Invoiced) accounting.

• Over 5 years of experience with Sage X3 ERP implementation, or implementation of similar ERP platforms (Epicor, Infor, Syspro, ProcessPRO, MS Dynamics).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

• Proven consulting experience with a successful track record of delivering complex software solutions on schedule and within budget.

• Strong capability to translate business requirements into functional solution specifications.

• Experience facilitating requirements and design sessions via interviews, workshops, and prototype demonstrations.

• Ability to effectively document both business and technical designs for internal and client audiences.

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, capable of managing a network of client stakeholders.

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure project environments.

• This is a remote position that requires a minimum of 50% travel to client sites across the US.
