This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Create and implement a thorough safety product strategy and national growth initiative targeting key industrial sectors.
• Conduct an in-depth market landscape analysis, encompassing customer segmentation, competitive positioning, and the total addressable market.
• Discover and prioritize high-value opportunities to enhance revenue and margin growth.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies pertinent to industrial safety.
• Oversee regular business updates, including weekly cadence calls and quarterly assessments.
• Define and broaden a comprehensive safety product portfolio that aligns with customer applications and market needs.
• Collaborate with key suppliers to synchronize product roadmaps, foster innovation, and enhance go-to-market strategies.
• Identify product deficiencies and solutions necessary to support capital projects and large-scale initiatives.
• Establish and nurture strategic supplier relationships to maximize performance and collaboration.
• Work alongside Regional Managers and Sales Teams to stimulate pipeline development and secure opportunities.
• Facilitate sales training, coaching, and focused planning sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
• Assist field teams in solution-oriented selling—positioning products to address challenges, create value, and outmaneuver competitors.
• Engage in joint sales calls, customer visits, and the development of strategic accounts.
• Create and present training materials, sales tools, and input for marketing campaigns.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proven expert-level knowledge and experience in industrial safety products, applications, and compliance environments.
• Over 6 years of experience in industrial sales or product management with a focus on safety products and solutions.
• Strong preference for experience in supporting or selling to the mining industry.
• Demonstrated capability to integrate product, marketing, and sales strategies to drive growth.
• Proven success in influencing cross-functional teams through collaboration and leadership without direct authority.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
• High energy, self-motivated, and effective in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Willingness to travel nationally 50% to 75% of the time.
