Safety Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and executing Occupational Safety, Health, and Risk Management initiatives at field camp sites.

• Ensures that station, field, and auxiliary operations comply with safety and health program standards.

• Serves as the point of contact for safety and health matters for ASC operations both on-site and off-site.

• Collaborates with management to develop and execute risk management strategies and plans.

• Conducts regular site inspections at USAP stations and field camps.

• Offers advice to directors, managers, and camp leadership regarding safety and risk management considerations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Safety Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with safety and health regulations, standards, and the elements of an effective safety program.

• Experience in field logistics support for remote work camps.

• Ability to adjust to extreme weather conditions such as high winds and low temperatures.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Candidates may obtain various levels of professional certification in safety and/or industrial hygiene or equivalent through ongoing education and experience.
