Safety Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute the QE Solar Health and Safety program.

• Aid in the planning and execution to guarantee a safe, healthy, and accident-free workplace.

• Support QE Solar operations by ensuring that all staff carry out their tasks safely.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations.

• Exhibit strong leadership qualities and enhance the QE Solar Safety Culture.

• Collaborate closely with Safety Managers to foster the QE Solar Safety culture.

• Provide health and safety leadership and guidance to all QE staff.

• Develop, oversee, and assess site-specific health and safety plans (HASP).

• Perform safety audits and compile reports.

• Educate managers and employees on work site safety practices.

• Serve as a liaison for any federal, state, or municipal safety or risk management authorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management, occupational health, or a related STEM field.

• Preferably possess a minimum of 7-10 years of safety-related experience with a mobile workforce.

• Strong comprehension of NFPA 70E and OSHA Electrical Safety regulations.

• Knowledge of General Industry and Construction Health and Safety.

• It is advantageous to have completed OSHA 30-hour courses in General Industry and Construction Safety.

• CPR/First Aid certification, including instructor qualifications.

• EM 385-1-1 40-hour certification and EM 385-1-1 Competent Person for Fall Protection certification.
