This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Customer Relationship Management: Building, sustaining, and enhancing strategic relationships with customers throughout the entire organization of accounts, including C-Suite level procurement/finance, clinical, operations, and other essential stakeholders.
• Ensuring a positive account experience with the Pfizer Global Hospital & Biosimilars U.S. Commercial organization.
• Navigating complex organizational structures to expand contacts, influence key decision-makers, and increase access to Pfizer’s products.
• Communicating value proposition statements and evaluating the effectiveness of messaging with portfolio leaders.
• Acting as the point of contact for issues, inquiries, and complaints.
• Business Planning & Strategic Execution: Crafting and implementing strategies that meet growth objectives.
• Gaining an understanding of the business models of assigned accounts and pursuing mutually advantageous solutions.
• Presenting and promoting Pfizer products while structuring contracts and programs tailored to customer requirements.
• Conducting business reviews with assigned accounts.
• Overseeing customer contracts and coordinating with customers and the internal contracting team.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 8 years of healthcare sales experience with a proven track record in managing accounts with senior executives and multiple key stakeholders/decision-makers
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a sales team and/or managing large accounts that necessitate interaction with senior leadership/executives at Pfizer or equivalent organizations
• Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including classes of trade, particularly in the Multisource Injectables Marketplace & Biosimilars; familiarity with Wholesaler, Distributor, GPO, and Alternate Site business models
• Experience and training in pricing and contract negotiations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to thrive in a matrixed environment
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will lead to disqualification from employment.
