πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Provides direction and oversight for 9 Key Account Managers across a significant portion of the United States.

β€’ Proactively manages the account planning process and drives team execution to meet performance objectives, sales goals, KPIs, and critical milestones for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.

β€’ Leads the development of account-specific growth strategies across the portfolio, focusing on MyRisk and Prolaris AI. This includes regularly assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs while developing solutions that effectively address these needs and coordinating the involvement of vital stakeholders, including support, service, and resource management. Understands the competitive landscape and leverages this knowledge to optimally position Myriad.

β€’ Collaborates with Field Sales Leadership to implement cancer screening initiatives and digital integrations in targeted accounts.

β€’ Achieves account-specific sales goals while working closely with Finance, Operations, and other supporting functions to maximize profitability.

β€’ Cultivates strong, enduring relationships with customers through long-term strategic planning and a deep understanding of their objectives. Maps customer ecosystems and expertly guides stakeholders through intricate customer decision-making processes. Recognizes customer culture and work processes and ensures all team members interacting with customers are well-informed of the nuances involved.

β€’ Works collaboratively to create cross-functional engagements and align goals with relevant departments, facilitating the achievement of key account objectives, including the development and execution of change initiatives that enhance organizational customer centricity.

β€’ Leads, develops, and mentors the team, providing regular, candid, and timely feedback. Analyzes and evaluates team performance while fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

β€’ Establishes a high-performance team environment that emphasizes ongoing professional development and personal accountability.

β€’ Removes obstacles and fosters a solution-oriented vision throughout the team.

β€’ Demonstrates both a long-term strategic perspective and a keen focus on driving immediate results. Uses research and data on customers, the market, and the competitive environment to identify growth opportunities to surpass assigned targets and KPIs. Utilizes this information for internal discussions, reports, and presentations critical for project decision-making.

β€’ Reports monthly on account performance, emphasizing customer delivery/satisfaction KPIs, revenue and profitability, and new business growth objectives. Identifies areas for improvement and drives the development of action plans to address them.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or equivalent work experience preferred.

β€’ Over 10 years of commercial experience in the field is required.

β€’ At least 5 years of leadership experience in large account management is preferred.

β€’ A minimum of 5 years leading field-based teams is preferred.

β€’ Proven success in establishing strong, long-term customer relationships, demonstrated by the ability to grow existing business and develop new opportunities.

β€’ Experience in team leadership with direct reporting relationships, and a proven track record in hiring, building, and leading high-performing teams is strongly preferred.

β€’ Strong understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape in the U.S., including healthcare reform, reimbursement policies, and their impact on organized provider accounts/customers.

β€’ Strong financial acumen, including experience in P&L management.

β€’ Possesses a strong executive presence and can adapt style to effectively engage and influence both customers and internal stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build solid peer relationships with both SME and C-Suite areas.

β€’ Experience in developing strategic account plans through collaboration with internal stakeholders and leveraging market intelligence data.

β€’ Proven ability to collaborate effectively and gain alignment with colleagues across various parts of the organization (including field and headquarters), while leading cross-functional teams.

β€’ Demonstrated capability to think strategically, formulate, develop, write, communicate, and monitor the execution of stakeholder business plans.

β€’ Experience in developing and executing complex programs and projects, showcasing strong project management skills.

β€’ High proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel, necessary for creating compelling reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
