This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with the client's leadership to pinpoint safety issues and objectives.
• Develop and oversee a program aimed at fostering a safe, proactive, and prepared community.
• Conduct one-on-one thought partnership discussions.
• Define overarching goals at the outset of the contract.
• Create a timeline and priorities document for engagement scheduling.
• Work alongside School Health Services and Event Safety Divisions to train and assist EMT and Health Coordinators.
• Maintain internal and institutional knowledge pertaining to individual schools.
• Collaborate in the development of resources and training presentations.
• Foster continuous and transparent communication channels.
• Oversee shared folders and resources for clients.
• Anticipate and address client inquiries and concerns proactively.
• Seek opportunities for collaboration and connection with clients.
• Manage questions and requests that fall outside of the established scope.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests as needed.
• Plan and conduct risk assessments of campuses, either virtually or on-site.
• Provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
• Must be located in New York or the Washington, D.C. area.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Experience in healthcare or educational institutions.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• A collaborative team player who is confident in public speaking and addressing large groups.
• Strong understanding of administrative tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional trainer and communicator, both in writing and verbally.
• Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) courses 100, 200, 700, and 800.
• Willingness to travel 70% of the time.
