S/4HANA Expert – Finance & Controlling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute continuous improvement related Change Requests, including DRC, Tax, MBC/BCM, and VIM

• Connect S/4HANA processes with tax authorities for e-Invoicing and Tax Reporting in Italy, India, Portugal, Korea, China, France, and additional countries

• Link S/4HANA processes with third-party solutions like SOVOS in the US for tax calculation and reporting

• Work collaboratively with Finance and Tax teams to ensure global finance processes and audit preparedness

• Offer continuous support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for S/4HANA Finance functionalities, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Month-end Closing

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for S/4HANA Controlling functionalities, which include production orders, internal orders, cost centers, and profit centers

• Utilize process and configuration expertise related to Actual Costing and Costing runs

• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to convert requirements into scalable solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field

• Over 5 years of experience with S/4HANA

• Demonstrated experience in at least two full-cycle implementations involving S/4HANA DRC and integration

• Knowledge of S/4HANA FI & CO processes

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities

• Preferred S/4HANA DRC certifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling

• Familiarity with data migration tools (LSMW, MASS)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools
