This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• The Quality resource will be tasked with gathering information and comprehending requirements from various Business Units (BUs) to implement standardized functionalities throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with BUs to synchronize quality processes and foster standardization across systems.
• Hold extensive expertise in SAP Quality Management functionalities, including inspection types, plans, MIC's quality notifications, and certificates.
• Exhibit significant experience in SAP module integration, particularly within Logistics, Production Execution, and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, especially regarding certification handling.
• Configure and manage SAP systems to effectively support quality processes.
• Aid both the data team and process teams in data mapping, validation, and testing tasks.
• Provide dedicated support for supplier quality processes and collaborate closely with Source-to-Pay (S2P) and plant maintenance integrated teams.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders, including BU teams, vendors, and SAP consultants, to ensure smooth support and implementation.
• Responsible for delivering functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, data conversion programs, reports, and workflows as necessary.
• Support the development of new and innovative solutions that align with digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.
• Assist the data team and process teams in data mapping tasks and testing.
• Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows, and data policies.
• Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations, and workflows identified as in scope for Plan to Sustain as part of the program.
• Mentor less experienced team members in specific areas of the Plan to Sustain business process hierarchy.
• Ensure that RTX is well-positioned for future success across all functional areas of Plan to Sustain.
• Travel 25-35%
• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience; alternatively, 12 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
• Experience in configuring and supporting SAP ERP alongside the integration of the Manufacturing Execution System/Supplier portal regarding source inspection and quality notification processes.
• Technical hands-on domain experience in SAP Quality Management, including material master, quality information record, defect quality record, and corrective & preventative action.
