This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a team of Solutions Engineers to assist customers and prospects by understanding their challenges and showcasing Tanium’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with Sales to drive revenue and oversee the customer journey from technical discovery to adoption, value realization, and growth.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team execution, promptly escalating and resolving issues.
• Promote accountability and ensure that team members meet key performance metrics.
• Work alongside Sales leadership on pipeline management, revenue generation, and customer outcomes.
• Recruit, onboard, inspire, retain, coach, mentor, and supervise team members.
• Ensure ongoing technical enablement and training for the team.
• Propel regional performance through data-driven decision-making and resource allocation.
• Organize team meetings to foster collaboration, problem-solving, and constructive feedback.
• Develop and oversee strategic account and territory assignments.
• Represent partner and customer viewpoints to guide product development and feature prioritization.
• Spearhead innovation projects and technical pre-sales engagements, including technical sales discussions and demonstrations.
• Participate or lead marketing events from a technical standpoint.
• Provide assistance to other regions and departments as required.
• An associate degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Over 8 years of industry experience with robust technical skills in networking, security, operations, scripting, and/or programming.
• Demonstrated effective leadership of a technical team.
• A passion for leading teams with empathy, patience, inclusiveness, discretion, and a proven track record of mentoring technologists.
• Capability to translate corporate strategy into actionable tactics while holding teams accountable through prioritization, trend analysis, and data analysis.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers.
• Proven experience in leading strategic pre-sales initiatives.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational capabilities.
• Sound judgment and the ability to assess cost versus value.
• Mastery of executive communication and emotional intelligence.
• Strong influence skills with teams and strategic clients.
• Ability to work within the CT time zone.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% of the time.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is a plus.
