This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Formulate and implement the EMEA Solution Advisory strategy in alignment with regional sales objectives, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all market segments.
• Act as a pivotal member of the EMEA Sales leadership team, offering strategic insights into market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Promote thought leadership and innovation in the engagement of the Solution Advisory team with customers and prospects, including advanced demonstration techniques and value-oriented selling approaches.
• Encourage the exchange of knowledge and the scaling of best practices throughout the organization, while fostering continuous innovation and creativity.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain a top-tier team of Solution Advisors, cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration, and ongoing professional development.
• Provide hands-on coaching, performance management, and career development guidance.
• Oversee resource distribution across the region, prioritizing opportunities to optimize revenue, renewal, retention, and customer success objectives.
• Promote a constructive team attitude, outlook, and work ethic to help maintain Coupa as a remarkable workplace.
• Ensure operational and administrative excellence.
• Guarantee that the Solution Advisory team effectively converts complex business challenges into persuasive technical solutions and quantifiable business value that sets Coupa apart from competitors.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and executive sponsor for key accounts and strategic initiatives, engaging with C-level executives to convey Coupa’s vision and value proposition.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure alignment with company objectives and uphold Coupa’s leadership position and brand in the industry.
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales, solution consulting, or solution architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and expanding a regional or national team of presales professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of the Business Spend Management (BSM) sector, encompassing Procurement, Invoicing, Expenses, and related financial processes.
• Strong executive presence coupled with outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated capability to devise and implement complex pre-sales strategies in highly competitive settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a technical discipline; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations and company meetings across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
