This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Identify, cultivate, and convert strategic partnerships with RIA Aggregators, Broker/Dealers, TPAs, Payroll Providers, Banks, and other essential partners within your designated sales region.
• Develop, own, and oversee a strong retirement plan sales pipeline, utilizing existing relationships while actively seeking new clients through strategic outreach and cold calling efforts.
• Consult with potential clients on suitable plan features or types that may fit their workforce, evaluating whether a standalone or aggregated plan is the most effective choice for their demographics and business objectives.
• Transform retirement plan opportunities into successful sales by applying strategic thinking and sound judgment through a consistent, scalable process in collaboration with your internal sales team.
• Provide product demonstrations and maintain in-depth knowledge of retirement plan record-keeping, administration, and technology, acting as a trusted advisor to both prospects and clients.
• Design and oversee the transition processes to Vestwell’s implementation and client success teams, ensuring a seamless client experience that fosters repeat business.
• Take ownership of achieving plan sales and revenue targets, exercising discretion in prioritizing tasks and approaches to achieve desired outcomes.
• Be accountable for plan sponsor revenue generation in your region, influencing results through effective relationship management, strategic execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Over 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within retirement, FinTech, wealth management, or a comparable industry.
• In-depth understanding of how retirement plan advisors establish, manage, and expand their practices.
• Clear comprehension of and ability to articulate partnerships across various channels.
• Proven track record in managing and leading sales regions while consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Capability to manage a plan sale throughout the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to conversion.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to fostering a premier selling environment and effective processes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Experience in developing prospect lists for cold calling.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time.
