This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the entire sales process for enterprise employers in the Northeast, from initial discovery through to closing, including upsell opportunities with current clients;
• Establish trusted partnerships with HR, Benefits, and Total Rewards leaders at self-insured organizations;
• Collaborate closely with brokers, consultants, and health plan partners to develop robust referral pipelines and facilitate contract agreements;
• Conduct discovery discussions to comprehend employer healthcare expenditures, MSK challenges, and benefits strategies;
• Clearly express Sword’s unique value proposition regarding clinical outcomes, outcomes-based pricing, and claims-based ROI;
• Organize and present executive-level presentations, live demonstrations, and ROI analyses in conjunction with internal clinical and health economics teams;
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate forecasts in alignment with quarterly and annual objectives;
• Keep abreast of competitive dynamics (e.g., Hinge, Omada) and strategically position Sword in competitive assessments;
• Work together with Customer Success to guarantee efficient implementations and foster long-term partnership success.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience selling to employers, ideally in healthcare, digital health, or employee benefits;
• Demonstrated success in managing intricate, consultative sales processes with HR and benefits decision-makers;
• Experience collaborating with brokers, consultants, or health plan partners within the benefits landscape;
• Strong grasp of self-insured employer healthcare dynamics and cost factors;
• Capacity to effectively communicate clinical, financial, and ROI-based value to executive audiences;
• Ability to navigate competitive sales scenarios and differentiate based on outcomes rather than just features;
• Exceptional organizational, pipeline management, and forecasting abilities;
• Proficient in utilizing CRM tools and sales enablement platforms;
• Willingness to travel within the Northeast territory as necessary.
