Russian VRI/OPI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific terminology relevant to the industry in which you are interpreting (specifically healthcare and medical).

• Convey all messages accurately and entirely, without adding, omitting, or altering content.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpretations.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretation of messages.

• Adhere to established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training programs.

• Show eagerness to obtain new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader regularly.

• Follow dress code guidelines for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Russian".

• Over 1 year of experience in telephone interpretation with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are beneficial (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• A high school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and sensitivity to diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
