Ruby on Rails Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain Ruby on Rails applications, which includes the implementation of new functionalities and the enhancement of current codebases.

• Oversee and refine the PostgreSQL database, focusing on data modeling, performance assessment and optimization, as well as managing database migrations.

• Engage in DevOps responsibilities, such as releasing application updates, developing and managing microservices within Kubernetes, and executing database migrations.

• Create and integrate interfaces for external POS and ERP/inventory systems to enhance data exchange and system interoperability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Significant experience in developing with Ruby on Rails.

• In-depth understanding of PostgreSQL databases.

• Strong background in Test Driven Development.

• Familiarity with AWS environments (e.g., RDS) is advantageous.

• A self-reliant, analytical, systematic, and meticulous approach to work.

• A strong service and customer-oriented attitude.

• A collaborative team player capable of working under pressure.

• Proficient in German (minimum C1) and good command of English (minimum B2), both in written and spoken forms.
