RTR Accountant, Senior RTR Accountant – German Language

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Execute Month-End Close processes including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist with inventory accounting, fixed assets, depreciation allocation, intercompany transactions, and general ledger accounting activities.

• Generate financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to facilitate informed business decision-making.

• Manage master data and Chart of Accounts in line with established controls and governance standards.

• Ensure precision in accounting tasks and adherence to agreed timelines while upholding compliance with internal controls.

• Engage in client meetings, process enhancement initiatives, testing activities, and system implementations.

• Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, desktop procedures, and operational checklists.

• Cultivate robust stakeholder relationships and proactively address client inquiries, escalations, and service delivery expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in RTR / General Ledger Accounting.

• Extensive experience in Month-End Close, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting.

• Preferred experience with SAP.

• Proficiency in the German language (minimum B2; C1 preferred).

• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously in an international Shared Services environment.

• Demonstrated ability to foster positive client relationships and effectively navigate challenging stakeholder situations.
