RPG Developer, IBM i (AS/400)

📋 Description

• You will take on shared responsibility for the maintenance, support, and further enhancement of existing legacy systems in the retail, manufacturing, insurance, and banking sectors for long-term client projects.

• Your role includes analyzing, designing, and implementing customer requirements while preparing the necessary documentation.

• You will provide targeted assistance to our customers regarding modernization topics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development on the IBM i/AS400 platform is essential.

• A solid understanding of RPG, ranging from RPG III to full free-format, is required.

• Experience in database modeling is necessary.

• Strong analytical thinking skills are a must.

• You should be eager to continue learning, update your knowledge, and maintain a forward-thinking, open-minded approach.

• You must be willing to work on-site at customer locations occasionally (approximately 10–20%).

• Proficiency in German at a native-speaker level is required.
