Roofing Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Performing general assessments and outlining the scope of work for potential repairs or replacements.

• Detecting, identifying, documenting, and providing guidance on deficiencies and issues in roof systems.

• Executing emergency repairs as necessary to meet customer requirements.

• Delivering a comprehensive scope of work for any additional repairs that may be needed.

• Installing service and carrying out approved repairs as requested.

• Collaborating effectively with owners, customers, colleagues, managers, and inter-office staff.

• Must be flexible and able to adapt to ever-changing environments and workplaces.

• Completing required daily documentation, including online service documents and timesheets.

• Some travel may be involved.

• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with commercial roof systems as previously mentioned.

• Physically fit to manage all aspects of roofing repairs.

• Adhere to all OSHA and other industry safety and compliance standards.

• Proficient computer skills are advantageous.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• The ideal candidate should have experience with single-ply membranes, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, roof-related sheet metal, and standing-seam/metal-panel roofing systems.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Successfully pass drug screening and background checks.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

• Must have personal tools necessary for the trade.
