This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Identify and engage potential end users, system integrators, machine builders, and channel partners to advocate for ABB’s collaborative robot portfolio in warehousing, logistics, and food & beverage sectors.
• Work closely with ABB’s robotics channel partners and territory sales teams to facilitate the development and qualification of robotics opportunities, as well as conduct technical discovery sessions and product demonstrations to highlight robotics capabilities and value propositions.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted campaigns, regional events, and webinars aimed at raising awareness of ABB's offerings, and represent ABB at industry trade shows, expos, and automation events to enhance ABB Robotics visibility and market presence.
• Provide customer feedback to global product management and engineering teams to aid in portfolio evolution, while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends in robotics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Business, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the realms of industrial automation, robotics, or collaborative robotics; or a different combination of education and experience, such as an Associate's degree and 7+ years.
• Extensive experience and knowledge in environments central to food and beverage, as well as warehousing and logistics manufacturing and production settings.
• Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage a sales pipeline.
• Willing to travel up to 50% within the U.S., with a specific focus on your designated territory (MI, IN, IL, KY, MO, IA, WI, MN).
• A strong understanding of robotic applications utilized in Consumer Industry applications (including picking, packing, palletizing, and mobile robotics) is preferred.
• Possess strong technical aptitude and the ability to convey value-based selling strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
