RN Organ Placement Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver 24/7 support for organ placement coordination, overseeing donor organ offers through the post-transplant recipient stages.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with transplant centers, surgeons, and donor organizations.

• Comply with OPTN policies and ensure adherence to transplant regulations.

• Accurately assess donor and recipient charts and facilitate real-time documentation of accepted cases.

• Ensure smooth coordination of transplant logistics by utilizing standard templates and workflows.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to team training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in organ procurement organizations (OPOs), solid organ experience at transplant centers, recipient transplant experience, or in acute care settings (ICU, Emergency Department, or transplant units).

• Strong ability to think critically and multitask in high-pressure environments.

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and UNet DonorNet/Waitlist.

• Capable of working independently while also collaborating with a remote team.
