This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with essential Financial Partners across North America, Europe, and APAC.
• Create and implement solutions aimed at expanding our stablecoin product offerings.
• Support Stripe's objectives to help users take advantage of products like on-ramp, conversion, storage, movement, and off-ramp.
• Lead initiatives to improve risk and compliance management interactions between Stripe and its partners.
• Oversee key aspects of partner relationships and implement high-impact projects.
• Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to establish goals, align priorities, and drive execution.
• Collaborate thoroughly with product and engineering teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders including Risk, Fraud, Financial Crime and Compliance, Operations, Legal, and Finance.
• Engage with partners' Risk and Compliance teams, including senior management.
• Over 8 years of experience in risk, fraud, financial crime, or compliance-related roles at banks, fintechs, exchanges, wallets, on-ramping and off-ramping services, or custodians, with a track record of engaging with financial partners and the broader ecosystem.
• In-depth knowledge of risk and compliance issues related to crypto and stablecoin products.
• Capability to represent Stripe in discussions around risk, compliance, financial crime, and product matters with financial partners, ensuring positive relationships.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills (both written and verbal) to foster understanding, collaboration, and problem-solving.
• A curious and partnership-oriented mindset focused on enhancing processes and scaling solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities, including handling challenging situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing stakeholders at all levels across organizations and regions.
• Self-driven and proactive, with the capability to excel in uncertain and ambiguous circumstances.
• Skill to provide clarity, develop plans, and meet timelines and commitments in high-pressure situations with competing priorities.
