Risk Manager – P&C Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Conduct PURE 360 Risk assessments by analyzing diverse and intricate property conditions across various regions, construction types, and environmental factors to evaluate risk exposure.

• Examine and interpret findings to determine loss probability and severity, employing professional judgment to make suitable recommendations.

• Propose loss prevention strategies by identifying practical solutions and prioritizing actions based on their risk impact.

• Evaluate property conditions, assess replacement cost factors, recognize significant risk elements, and ascertain the importance of exposures that may influence underwriting decisions, loss potential, and business operations.

• Collaborate with Underwriting and internal stakeholders to offer insights that aid in risk selection and business decisions.

• Clearly communicate assessment results and recommendations, including the reasoning behind decisions and the potential implications of risks.

• Act as a trusted representative of the PURE brand within members’ homes, establishing credibility through thoughtful and knowledgeable engagement while demonstrating humility, professionalism, and sincere care in every interaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory – relevant field experience is highly regarded.

• 3+ years of experience as a Risk Manager within an insurance company, or in a related insurance role involving property risk assessment and broader risk management practices OR 5+ years of experience in high-value home construction, skilled trades (such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC), home inspection, appraisal, or a related field.

• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential.

• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in complex scenarios.

• Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving abilities.
