Risk Control Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform risk assessments through technical investigations, risk evaluations, and loss analyses.

• Deliver timely information to the Underwriting department for enhanced risk evaluation and assessment.

• Oversee accounts' programs, pinpoint necessary improvements, and offer recommendations for enhancements.

• Manage and sustain portfolios while conducting analyses to ensure the integrity of the book of business.

• Offer high-level technical services, evaluations, and policyholder training in a specialized area.

• Communicate technical findings both internally and externally.

• Influence the behaviors of Underwriters, Agents, and clients through negotiation and relationship-building.

• Manage accounts by developing an assessment and improvement strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of risk control experience in Wind, Power, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Solar Power is required.

• National Board Certification and other professional insurance or industry certifications are preferred.

• Strong expertise in risk management and experience in the operations and maintenance of renewable energy assets are highly desired.
